Dr Divik Seth MBBS, MD, MRCPsych, CCT (child psychiatry).
Dr Divik Seth is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working within the CAMHS NHS services in Cambridge, where he currently leads the ADHD pathway. He also works in the private sector and runs an independent ADHD practice and general child and adolescent psychiatry practice in Cambridge and online.
Dr Seth has over 20 years of clinical experience working with neurodiverse children and young people with a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions and co‑morbid mental health difficulties.
He specialises in the assessment and management of ADHD, bringing extensive expertise in diagnostic formulation, evidence‑based treatment, and service development.
During his time in Cambridge, he has led several key initiatives for the CAMHS team, including:
· Currently leads the Neuro‑Diagnostics CAMHS transformation Programme for Cambridgeshire
· Developing and reviewing joint specialist ADHD pathways in collaboration with community paediatrics
· Initiating and delivering ADHD parent education groups
· Designing and implementing safe prescribing processes for ADHD medication
· Strengthening multidisciplinary working across primary care, paediatrics, and CAMHS
· Publishing an online ADHD training module as part of the Child Development and Disability Essentials (McKeith Press), mapped to RCPCH Progress+ competencies for paediatric trainees
Dr Seth is actively involved in teaching and training, delivering regular sessions on ADHD to GPs, paediatricians, multidisciplinary colleagues, junior doctors, and medical students. He provides clinical supervision to nurses and trainees involved in the care of children and young people with ADHD.
In addition, he delivers group training programmes for parents and carers, supporting families to better understand ADHD and develop practical strategies to help their children thrive.
