Meet Dr. Divik Seth

Dr Divik Seth MBBS, MD, MRCPsych, CCT (child psychiatry).

I am a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working within CAMHS NHS services in Cambridge, where I lead the ADHD pathway. Alongside my NHS role, I also works in the private sector, running an independent practice for ADHD and general child and adolescent psychiatry in Cambridge and online. My work focuses on providing clear, evidence‑based assessment and treatment for children, young people, and their families, with an emphasis on collaborative care and practical support that makes a meaningful difference to daily life.

I have over 20 years of clinical experience working with neurodiverse children and young people with a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions and co‑morbid mental health difficulties. My specialist interest is in the assessment and management of ADHD, and I bring extensive expertise in diagnostic formulation, evidence‑based treatment, and service development.

During my time in Cambridge, I have led several key initiatives within the CAMHS team. These include:

·  Leading the Neuro‑Diagnostics CAMHS Transformation Programme for Cambridgeshire

·  Developing and reviewing joint specialist ADHD pathways in collaboration with community paediatrics

·  Initiating and delivering ADHD parent education groups

·  Designing and implementing safe prescribing processes for ADHD medication

·  Strengthening multidisciplinary working across primary care, paediatrics, and CAMHS

·  I have also published an online ADHD training module as part of the Child Development and Disability Essentials (McKeith Press), mapped to RCPCH Progress+ competencies for paediatric trainees

Teaching and training are an important part of my work. I regularly deliver sessions on ADHD to GPs, paediatricians, multidisciplinary colleagues, junior doctors, and medical students. I provide clinical supervision to nurses and trainees involved in the care of children and young people with ADHD. In addition, I run group training programmes for parents and carers, supporting families to better understand ADHD and develop practical strategies to help their children thrive.
